WEDNESDAY

BATTLE OF SANTIAGO
8.00

Juno Award nominee Battle of Santiago combines ancient Afro-Cuban rhythms and chants with a distinctly Canadian post-rock spirit and sensibility. Fused by dynamic elements of jazz, funk, electronic, and rock, the result is a dance party-forward experience that has brought them to stages across the globe in Canada, the Europe, and Latin America. Their unique sound tells a universal 21st Century story of blending borders, and cultures, while trying to stay rooted in our own experiences.

DALE ROSS
11.30

Growing up on the west coast of British Columbia, folk singer-songwriter Dale Ross has been wet for years. Armed with a guitar and a harmonica, and taking cues from legends like McCartney and Dylan to modern giants like Ben Howard and Bon Iver, he seamlessly fuses memorable pop melodicism with the wit of classic folk balladry, bringing to life stories of love and loss on cross-country road trips, finding peace in the solitude of nature, and the trials of being broke.
