Grooveyard has made its dynamic energy and musicianship part of Toronto's music scene for decades. The band’s set list is rooted in old-school funk and soul, while also drawing on reggae, dance music, ‘80’s new wave, classic rock, newer cool pop, and mash ups with hidden gems. Fronted by singer Lester McLean and guitarist Michael Occhipinti, Grooveyard puts its own stamp on everything it does, and the band's goal is to get you moving.

The Sauce Piquante Soundsystem is the live experience of Montreal kitchen party label MTL Sauce Piquante. It is made up of producer and DJ Oonga, singers and rappers KC and Gioco, along with a rotating cast of party animal musicians based in Montreal. It was formed in the summer of 2023 in Oonga’s kitchen after an MTL Sauce Piquante showcase was rained out and the musicians had nowhere to go. The group has been building its following in Montreal through the power of its live performances, full of party-starting improvisations over home-cooked instrumentals. The first MTL Sauce Piquante album, Cracher le feu, came out in June 2024.
