Tres Passaros is a dynamic Brazilian Jazz instrumental Trio featuring Juno award winning and Grammy award nominated trombonist Karl Silveira, Brazilian born guitarist Andre Valerio and Aidan McConnell on drums and percussion.
The music features original compositions by all the band members as well as a variety of songs from various Brazilian styles. The show features virtuosic instrumental performances, tight and dynamic arrangements and thoughtful audience interaction.
Since the band's inception in March this year, we have been playing regularly in Toronto and around Ontario. We have played as part of the Markham Jazz Festival, Big Lake Arts Music Festival, as well at Hirut and The Jazz Bistro in Toronto.
