"From Smyrna with Love" is a musical tribute to a legendary community, our lost Homeland, long gone but never forgotten. Come and listen to the enchanting music of Smyrna and dance to their sensual rythms like tsifteteli and karsilama. Tune in to their intricate melodies and feel the way our ancenstors celebrated love and life through music and dance! Hear the influence that Turkish, Armenian and Jewish populations had in our musical culture and vise versa. Come for an unforgetable night filled joy, nostalgia, lots of singing and dancing!
Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of Cafe-Amans.

15$ cover after 10pm, with all proceeds going directly to the musicians performing.

GROOVEYARD
11.30

Grooveyard is a high energy funk, r&b, and beyond band under the leadership of guitarist Michael Occhipinti and singer Lester McLean, with Paul Neufeld (keyboards), Doan Pham (drums), and Nikku Nayar (bass). The band’s set list is rooted in old-school funk and soul that Grooveyard uniquely makes its own while also drawing on reggae, dance music, ‘80’s new wave, classic rock, and mash ups with hidden gems. The band is all about getting people grooving and moving and having a great time, which is why they’ve been a staple of Toronto’s music scene for over two decades.

THE LUVMENAUTS
2.30

The Luvmenauts are an eclectic Toronto-based collective dedicated to paying homage to the sounds of the past. They draw inspiration from film composers like Janko Nilovic, Piero Umiliani, and Alan Hawkshaw; while holding their sound accountable to the faceless dollar-bin, library music gems. Expanding on their signature sounds, their latest release "EPHEMERA" is a sonic odyssey that pushes boundaries, blending bizarro riffs, post-rock freakouts, and synth-heavy head nodders into a mesmerizing fusion that transcends traditional genre labels.
