Every second Thursday at Drom we will be welcoming some of the talented humans who make up our family to set the stage. Whether it’s promoters, producers, festival organizers, established musicians, now we want to let some of our community heroes show us their faves.
On each of these magical nights a different panel of community members will take over the programming for the evening, putting together a set list of their favourite acts - and showcasing the best of what our music culture has to offer. They will be responsible for booking talent, we will stay responsible for doing what we do best: connecting people with one another through food, drinks and immaculate vibes.
We would love to have you for our soft launch on Thursday, April 10th.
Doors at 7PM, show at 8PM, mix and chat in between, event ends at 10PM.

Juice Joint is a six-piece jazz-fusion and funk band based in London, Ontario. They perform original music composed by bandleader Nathan Nykor, blending influences such as Casiopea, Ahmad Jamal and D’Angelo, as well as Latin Jazz. Juice Joint has performed at notable festivals including Sunfest, Aeolian Jazz Festival, and VenuexVenue. They have performed alongside acts such as Moneka Arabic Jazz, Sunshine Makers, Shebad and Lavender Town. In addition to performing instrumental music, Juice Joint also accompanies R&B artists Saveria, Eleanor, and Amanda Movio. Juice Joint has also been running a successful bi-weekly jam session at London’s Poacher's Arms, where the band begins by playing a short-set, then opens up the stage for a jam. People of all musical backgrounds and skill levels are encouraged to jam.
In May of 2024 they released their debut self-titled EP, the majority of which was written, recorded, produced, and mixed by bandleader Nathan Nykor, and was mastered by Edison Award winning and Multi-Juno nominated Jay Hodgson. In October of 2024, Juice Joint released their latest single, titled "Briefcase", via Lovetown Records on all streaming platforms. Their upcoming full-length debut album will be released in September of 2025.
