Ale Avery Nunez is a 23-year-old vocalist, arranger, songwriter and bandleader based in Toronto. Growing up on jazz and soul, Ale's voice is timeless with a tone that is uniquely her own and leaves her audience hanging onto every note.
Her influences range from Sarah Vaughan, Aretha Franklin, and Julie to Feist and Norah Jones. Ale's original music hybridizes genres and styles and her writing is vulnerable and honest. A recent graduate of the Bachelor of Music Degree at Humber, Ale is creating a buzz in the music scene in Toronto and beyond and you can often see her perform regularly at many venues throughout Ontario. Ale was named "Artist of the Year" by the Toronto Undergraduate Jazz Festival in 2023 and 1st place recipient of the Etobicoke Jazz Festival's Doc Awards 2022. Her focus in 2024 is to release her original music and begin recording an EP of beloved jazz standards.

Moodset is a Toronto-based group rooted in the B.A.M tradition, showcasing deep-seated grooves and hooks that will keep you moving. Featuring award-winning artists Alexa Belgrave (keys), Caleb Klager (bass), Mackenzie Read (drums), Madeleine Ertel (trumpet) and Jacqueline Teh (voice), they were featured in Toronto’s 2024 Jazz festival on the TD Village Stage following the release of their debut Album 'let’s talk' in March of the same year. Co-led by two women of colour with a goal of making jazz accessible to all, Moodset continues to break down the barriers between genres, engaging listeners of all generations and identities. A multi-instrumentalist, Shannon’s signature palette of sultry woodwinds, lush jazz harmony, smooth vocals, and laid-back grooves melt together to create a mellow and funky soundscape. Strikingly honest, her style of storytelling is wistful and introspective, divulging personal struggles anyone can relate to. Her forthcoming EP ‘Playing Games’ offers a sweeter perspective, embracing fresh starts, self-empowerment, and authenticity.

Singer-songwriter/guitarist Donné Roberts was born in Madagascar. Now based in Toronto, Canada. He’s earned a matchless reputation for his compositions, strong catchy melodic lines that makes his audience sing along with him during live performances, strong message on the lyrics, also the excitement and the high energy and professionalism of his live shows.
Donné Roberts is a passionate performer. When he hits the stage, he carries with him an energy that immediately exhilarates the crowd even if they've never heard his music before. Donné performs mainly in Malagasy mother tongue from his birthplace of Madagascar. Yet this never proves to be a barrier to the audience, providing living proof that music truly does transcend languages.

Introducing David Celia from the outskirts of Toronto, Canada. David is an innovative singer/songwriter and astonishing guitar player, known for his spontaneously driven live performances. He tours frequently across Canada and Europe (often at Glastonbury Festival, Duna Jam and more) and is quoted as "One of Toronto's best guitar players” by CBC Radio. David's music has consistently appeared on the CBC, BBC and WNYC in New York. Even the late legendary Gordon Lightfoot was a fan.
