Ilios’ latest project, the Babylonia Ensemble, pays tribute to his Iraqi Jewish and Greek roots with a six part suite of Middle Eastern jazz. The instrumentation is an entrancing mix of clarinet, cello, piano, bass and drums. A variety of moods and rhythms are explored, and there is traditional Iraqi Jewish music in the mix as well, composed by the legendary Al-Kuwaity brothers of Baghdad.

Rocky Verweel and Queen City Blues is a six piece Blues /roots /R&B band. The Band consists of Rocky Verweel lead vocalist and keyboard player ,Steve Chadwick electric bass ,Chris Perkins electric guitar ,Simon Wallis tenor sax, Jim McGrath trumpet and Gerry Fielding drums and back-up vocals.

The members have been playing together for several years in this band and are also veterans of  many different bands over the years in Toronto and across North America.

15$ cover after 10pm, with all proceeds going directly to the musicians performing.

Boogát is one of the blue chips of the Canadian Global Music scene, with an innovative proposition that is always a party starter. His unique blend of styles, mixing hip-hop with modern Latin-American music, electronica and more traditional genres has made his global renown with constant touring, nonstop collaborations and numerous accolades & awards (Junos, Felix, Gamiq, etc.)

His new record, Del Horizonte, (out now) adresses the subjects of decolonization, subversion, immigration and has collaborations with El Dusty, Mateus Vidal (Olodum), DJ Shub, Okan, Tannergaard, Ahmed Moneka, Waahli, Diogo Ramos, Maï, Classic Roots and Mestre Pato (T Dot Batu).
