This new Toronto-based ensemble shouts their global infusion of funk, jazz and folk music from the streets. The Libation Street Band boasts an unconventional orchestra featuring Dave Chan on multi-keys, vocals and percussion, the syncopated drumming of Larry Graves and the conversational blowing of horn-smiths Marcus Ali (saxophones), Patrice Barbanchon (Trumpet) and Jamie Stager (Trombone).

Recently the group has performed at The Guelph Jazz Festival, The Toronto Jazz Festival and a variety of club and concert venue dates in Toronto.

15$ cover after 10pm, with all proceeds going directly to the musicians performing.

TRASH PANDA BRASS

Only having hit the streets in June 2022, Trash Panda Brass is a new and exciting voice in the Toronto brass band scene. Comprised of six queer U of T graduates, Trash Panda Brass is on a mission to diversify the brass scene, promote inclusivity and bring welcoming energy to all. In an effort to bring music and joy to as wide an audience as possible, Trash Panda has primarily focused on busking at various locations in and around downtown Toronto. They are quickly gaining a large following with their upbeat and fun loving tunes, paying homage to iconic queer hits and icons. Trash Panda Brass is proud to be here and be queer!

Trash Panda Brass is an all queer brass band from Toronto. Their distinct sound comes from their upbeat and fun loving tunes, paying homage to quintessential queer hits and icons. Their mission is to diversify the brass scene and promote inclusivity through shows and educational workshops.

KILOWATT

Kilowatt Band performs music from the seventies to the present, huge hits from bands like Earth, Wind and Fire, Confunkshun, Maceo Parker,and Barkays. They've played El Mocambo, The Hideout, and many other premier venues in Toronto. The band is active in the community, and has been involved with playing benefits for Cancer Research and programs for homeless and at-risk youth in Toronto. Most of all, Kilowatt Band wants to be a group that can reach out to the young funkateers that are afraid to come out, to bring funk fans together. Wherever they perform they bring the crowd to life and leave them dancing.
