Daeyong Lim is a Korean-Canadian Vocalist born in Seoul and raised in Toronto. He loves playing music on or off stage. He has a soft spot for jazz standards because of their gentle, naive, yet witty sentiment that resonates with him. You will hear him interpret these songs of the past through a modern lens while paying homage to the greats. He is currently a music student at Humber College and a choir member/ cantor at a local church. You will find him roaming around the city on his vintage bicycle checking out theatre productions, visiting art galleries and reading books or slacklining in the park. Feel free to holler if you see him! Daeyong Lim Trio consists of three Humber Music students who like to swing. Daeyong Lim is the vocalist who sings with a warm, vintage tone. Nathan Tran is a pianist influenced by the bebop greats and a touch of Chopin. Alex McPherson is a versatile Bassist that can sing melismatically through his upright bass.
