Tarafi is a band paying tribute to the original rebetiko from the pre-WWII era. Rebetiko is the music of predominantly the urban lower and working-class population of early 20th century Greece. The band consists of George Sountoulidis (vocals, baglama), Dimitri Petsalakis (baglama, vocals), Sofia Smyrnioudi (accordion, vocals), George Vasileiou (guitar, vocals), Petros Pechlivanoglou (bouzouki)

Ivan Kirchuk, a well-known Belarusian folklorist, singer,  multi - instrumentalist, composer and writer. A founder and frontman of Ethno-Trio Troitsa band (performed in MODE Club, Toronto in 2019).  With " Troitsa" participant of the international festivals, such as Womad, England, Chile; SFINKS, Belgium; Cross cultur, Poland; Donaufest, Germany. Senior lecturer of folklore and cultural studies at the University of Culture, Minsk, Belarus.
In his unique solo program you will immerse yourself in the captivating world of Belarusian and East European culture, enveloped in a mysterious atmosphere and melodies infused with ancestral traditions.

Next Perfect Day is a city pop band playing Japanese and Korean city pop tunes from the 1980s. A mixture of different Western music styles such as disco, R&B, funk, soft rock, and jazz fusion, city pop brings a sense of nostalgia and longing amidst a busy city life.

Next Perfect Day aims to offer an authentic but fresh take on the Japanese and Korean classics for a new generation of urban audience.

15$ cover after 10pm, with all proceeds going directly to the musicians performing.

VINCENT SMITH

A native Barbadian based in Toronto, Vince is a singer-songwriter best known for his soul/funk style influenced by personal favorites such as Marvin Gaye and Bill Withers. He then takes those classics and adds a little Anderson Paak & Allen Stone for a modern vibe.

Vince’s distinctive style of music is about establishing a genuine and unfiltered connection with the audience through an unspoken communication of raw, profound, sub level of emotions. When paired with his band Vincent Jamal becomes a high energy group for thicker vibes, committed to dance hits and memories of good times only.
