Beloved Karine is cooking brunch every Saturday this Summer at Drom Taberna. She is blending her Armenian roots in her kitchen, and you will enjoy the most delightful flavors cooked with love and care. Expect colorfoul and delicious meals, with a TON of vegetables and fruits to refill all the vitamins you might've lost the night before!
Kitchen loves to plan in advance, so pick and choose in advance as you book your spot!
DAEYONG LIM TRIO

Daeyong Lim is a Korean-Canadian Vocalist born in Seoul and raised in Toronto. He’s spent about one half of his life here and the other half there. He loves playing music with his fellow musicians on or off stage. He enjoys singing jazz standards because the gentle, naive, yet witty sentiment in the music resonates with him. He likes to interpret the old songs through a modern lens while paying homage to the past. Don’t be surprised if he garnishes the music with a bit of scat singing- He is currently a music student at Humber College and a choir member/ cantor at a local church. You will find him roaming around the city on his vintage bicycle checking out theatre productions, visiting art galleries and reading books or slacklining in the park. Holler if you see him!
Daeyong Lim Trio consists of three wonderful music students at Humber College. Daeyong Lim is Vocalist who has a warm baritone voice with a vintage touch. Nathan Tran is a Pianist who is influenced by the bebop greats such as Barry Harris and Bud Powell. He will play tasteful bebop with a touch of Chopin. Alex McPherson is a virtuoso Bassist who likes to sing though his upright bass. He never fails to impress the audience with his melodic phrases that linger in our ears.
15$ cover after 10pm, with all proceeds going directly to the musicians performing.
VALÉRIE ÉKOUMÈ

From a musician family, Valérie EKOUME is a French Cameroonian singer based in France. She grew up listening to various musical styles from Congolese rumba, pop music artists (as Michael Jackson), to Cameroonian Music. Her life took a different turn when in 2004, she started actively working with Manu DIBANGO in the Soul Makossa Gang. Touring with this great musician for 8 year, was for Valerie one of the most incredible experience of her life.
In 2005, she joint the American School Of Modern Music, in Paris specialized in musician training where she stayed for 5 years .
With many partnerships such as ALAIN BARRIERE, Papa WEMBA...the singer belongs to this new multicultural generation and is influenced by it.
