We are thrilled to invite the Forró community of Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area to our lively Forró afternoons at Drom Taberna, happening every Sunday from July 28 to August 18 at 2 to 5 PM.

This is a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in the vibrant rhythms of Brazilian culture and music, right here in our city.

Join us for an afternoon filled with the enchanting beats of Forró, featuring performances by Maria and The Band, along with special guest appearances by local musicians. For three hours, let the music transport you to the heart of Brazil, surrounded by one of Toronto's most welcoming and popular venues that combines delectable food with a deep love for music.

David, a lifelong guitar enthusiast, discovered his passion for flamenco after exploring diverse musical styles from folk to jazz. He holds an Honours Degree in Classical Guitar Performance from Wilfrid Laurier University and a TEFL Diploma from Waterloo University. Based in Granada since 2005, he's immersed himself in flamenco, performing solo and with acclaimed artists like Juan Pinilla and Esther Merino. David toured New Zealand in 2019, offering solo performances, guitar classes, and masterclasses. Regularly returning to Canada for concerts, he's a respected member of flamenco clubs like "La Parra Flamenca", showcasing his enduring dedication to the art form.
