The Giant Steppas is a local Reggae band from Toronto. Members of the band are from different parts of Canada and the World but met in Collage. Jason McKenzie, the Bandleader formed The Giant Steppas with a group of friends who had a love for Jazz, RnB, Funky, and Jamaican Popular music. With the small amount of reggae bands in Toronto, it has encouraged The Giant Steppas to "Stepp" out and show the people of Toronto what they are all about. The bands musical style is fusing elements of Jazz, RnB, and Funky, with Reggae being the base of their sound allowing listeners to have a unique experience. Some of the band’s influences include the likes of Bob Marley, Jimmy Cliff, Alton Ellis, Chronixx, Sarah Vaughn, John Coltrane, Ella Fitzgerald, Chet baker, Stevie Wonder and Vulfpeck. As a new band they are enthusiastic about bring “Giant Steps” to the reggae scene in Toronto, by performing at local venues and creating content online. The Giant Steppas are filled with creativity and passion for what they do best which is entertaining through music where everyone can join in singing, dancing, clapping, and down to the tapping of their feet. If you haven’t heard them live, well be prepared to be “Giant Stepping”

15$ cover after 10pm, with all proceeds going directly to the musicians performing.

Rice&Mango’s goal is to infuse the party with the hottest Latin tunes and engage the audience with interactive, energetic and well-rounded performances. Rice & Mango has been awarded as Canada’s Tropical Band of the Year by The Latin Awards Canada and for 2 consecutive years in 2017 and 2018 was the recipient of the Caribbean Music and entertainment Award in the category of Toronto’s Top Latino Band.

Rice & Mango was created in 2012 as a musical project based in the fusion of Latin and Pop/Rock/Funk styles. Since its creation, Rice & Mango has become one of the hottest Latin acts in Toronto. High energy performance of classic and modern Latin hits is the band’s signature, with a characteristic sound that originates from lively and dynamic vocal performances backed up with hot Latin percussion and rhythms finished with funk and pop arrangements.

Since its formation, Rice & Mango has been performing at festivals, GTA clubs, parties and high profile events such as Salsa on St. Clair Festival, Ontario Celebration Zone, Blue Mountain Salsa Festival, Carassauga Festival of cultures, and Mississauga Latin Fest amongst others.

With hundreds of performances under their belt, the band is equally comfortable on the streets, in clubs, at events, at festivals, or on the road. Their polished, high-energy sound is unmistakable and has captivated audiences all over - leading to numerous web and television appearances, shows alongside international artists, and a growing discography of original music and videos.
